CGI of Canada has established three awards to recognize and celebrate member achievement. Nominations are always welcome with an annual deadline of March 1. Instructions are included on the nomination forms, linked below. The awards are presented at the Annual General Meeting.
Distinguished Professional Service Award
The Distinguished Professional Service Award was established in 1955 for the purpose of recognizing outstanding contributions to the profession of Chartered Secretary and Administrator. View the list of past recipients here.

Rising Star Award
This award is granted to a member showing significant career potential within the first 5 years of achieving Associate Chartered status. It can be awarded at any stage of a member’s career path. The inaugural Rising Star Award was presented to Shauna Mason, FCIS in 2017, the list of past recipients can be found here.
Outstanding Branch Member Award
The Outstanding Branch Member Award recognizes a member whose contributions within their Branch are significant and noteworthy. The nomination process is circulated to the Branch Councils for consideration, this award was introduced in 2018. Past recipients can be found here.
